SUPERNATURAL : FESTIVALS

Supernatural, Ventura Durall‘s latest feature documentary, coproduced by Massala with Nanouk Films (Spain) and Harald House (Belgium) will premiere at the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival on March 13 and 14 2025.

Mathurin, a medical doctor based in the United States, has become the polar opposite of his father, André Malby, a Spanish media personality shrouded in mystery and controversy, who claims to have cured incurable diseases. Mathurin’s steadfast beliefs begin to falter when he meets Anna, 45, a devoted follower of Malby, who insists that his father saved her life at the age of 9 through telepathic healing.

Mathurin must then confront Anna’s faith and beliefs. An existential journey that explores the boundaries between science and the supernatural.
