TOMORROW HAVANA

A documentary by Maïlys Khider

For the past four years, Cuba has been undergoing a new revolution. Its most profound change since 1959. The emergence of a new bourgeoisie since the state authorized private companies, known as Mypimes, in 2021 has been accompanied by increasing poverty and misery. This film is a declaration of love for this island and for my friends, whom I see leaving one by one. Everyone in Cuba wonders what Havana will look like tomorrow. What if tomorrow were already here?
