A feature film by Bruno Ulmer
Adapted from “Kurwenal or the share of beings” by Yves Navarre (H&O editions)
Pierre Kurwenal is a war reporter. He covers the great events of the world. On his return from Syria, where he witnessed and was the photographer of a sarin gas attack in Idlib, Pierre returns home to the 13th Gustave-Moreau cul-de-sac in Paris. But neither David nor Sarah are there. Only the cat Tristan. As he goes around the apartment, he can only see that David is gone, that Sarah will not return. 20 years of a long and beautiful common history, and nothing more. The void. Without a word, without an explanation.
